Worship & Technical Arts

Worship Team

The worship team seeks to excellently serve our congregation through Biblical and dynamic music. We are primarily band-driven, yet utilize a wide variety of music.

Expectations:
  • Committed Christ follower and faithful attender of North Park.
  • Can demonstrate proficiency in your singing or musical instrument.
  • Come prepared for a Sunday morning rehearsal at 8 am. Music is communicated several days early through the Planning Center. We do not have a midweek rehearsal (we value your life and family time during the week!).
  • Be willing to participate weekly, or on a rotation with other team members.
  • Be available for occasional special services (Good Friday & Christmas Eve).
  • Receive and interact with any training resources, classes, conferences, or learning videos assigned by our Worship Pastor.

Technical Arts Team

The Technical Arts Team seeks to excellently serve our congregation in helping them clearly and non-distractedly hear and respond to the teaching of God’s Word and in musical worship.

Expectations:
  • Committed Christ follower and faithful attender of North Park.
  • Can demonstrate an aptitude in at least one area of technical systems.
  • Seek to understand the vision and purpose of each service and seek to serve them through our technological tools.
  • Be hospitable to the worship team, pastor, elders, and special guests. Help preachers and guests with their microphones, offer water to vocalists and speakers, etc.
  • Be attentive to service at all times. Keep irrelevant phone usage to a minimum.
  • Be willing to participate weekly, or on a rotation with other team members. Our schedule is managed through Planning Center and is usually scheduled two months in advance.
  • Be available for occasional special services (Good Friday & Christmas Eve).
  • Receive and interact with any training resources, classes, conferences, or learning videos assigned by our Worship Pastor.
