2. What coping mechanisms are out there from the world on how to deal with fear?

3. Do you tend to clam up and shut down in confronted with "storms" that induce fears, or do you tend to try to control and manipulate your circumstances to keep your fears at bay?

4. How do you see this story filling in many more details and nuances to God's call for us to not be afraid beyond simply giving the command?

5. What tone do you naturally read in Christ's words, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"

6. Read this passage along with Matthew 8:23-27. How do you see the disciples growth and Christ's patience by reading these two passages together? How does that bring encouragement today for us?

7. What fears do you battle? Pray over them together as a group.
